Beadly is a digital counter for people who count prayers on beads, such as a Hindu japa mala or an Islamic tasbih. Tap to count toward a target (108 for a japa mala), review your progress in weekly and monthly history, and keep counting with the volume buttons even when the screen is off.

People who count prayers on beads often lose count or cannot keep a record of their practice, and counter apps that need the screen on are awkward during prayer.
Flutter developer who built the app, its counting logic, and its history views.
Added an optional mode where the volume buttons keep counting in the background, with a persistent notification and a clear battery-usage note.
Made the tradition and target count configurable, starting from a 108-bead japa mala.
Result / Impact
Beadly shows a focused Flutter app that turns a traditional practice into a simple counter with meaningful history, built to work even when the screen is off.
